SEN Teacher - Autism

We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team at a specialist provision in Watford, Manchester . This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about supporting children with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties. You will work within a supportive leadership team, in a school that values creativity, personalised learning, and strong relationships with pupils and families.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
Create and adapt learning resources to support diverse abilities
Work closely with LSAs, therapists, and external professionals
Develop and follow EHCP targets, ensuring progress for each learner
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with pupils with SEN (school or specialist settings)
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for SEND education
Ability to differentiate instruction and manage small-group or 1:1 learning
