The successful SEN Teacher applicant will join a school which is widely recognised as a great place to work by by staff and is very highly regarded by parents, OfSTED and the wider community. The school is in the London borough of Hounslow and due to the complexity of needs that they cater to they are seeking an experienced, skilled and passionate SEN teacher, with a passion for creative teaching to join the school in September for a 12 month maternity cover.

\n\nThe SEN Teacher Role\n\nThis fantastic Hounslow SEN school is seeking and experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic specialist SEN Teacher for a maternity cover from September. The successful SEN Teacher applicant can choose whether they'd like to work in either KS1 or KS2 for the year as the classes haven't yet been allocated and the permanent staff have indicated a level of flexibility that allows this. However SEN teacher skills are essential and a recent track record teaching in a UK SEN school and knowledge of ASD and SLD is required.

The successful SEN Teacher applicant will be teaching an informal multi-sensory curriculum to pupils working at low P Levels.\n\nAll applicants for this SEN Teacher job will need recent UK experience teaching SEN and hold QTS/QTLS or the equivalent.\n\nThe School\n\nThis Hounslow special school has ample parking and is well served by buses that run every 10 minutes to the nearest train station (10 minutes away). The school falls under Hounslow local authority and has a fantastic reputation, attracting children from over a dozen other local authorities including London and the Home Counties due to the fantastic standard of education and pastoral care that it offers its pupils.\n\nParents play an active part of school life and the SLT have an open door policy which extends to all staff and parents.
