About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a large, inclusive primary school in Enfield from March 2026.
This is a rewarding opportunity to lead teaching and learning within an informal SEN Hub, working alongside two Additional Resource Provisions (ARPs). The hub currently supports a small cohort of pupils on a part-time basis, many of whom have complex needs including autism, attachment difficulties, and communication challenges.
You will be supported by a dedicated team consisting of 1 HLTA and 3 support staff, creating a strong staffing ratio that enables personalised, high-quality provision.

The Role
You will:
• Lead teaching within the SEN Hub provision
• Plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons tailored to complex needs
• Support pupils with autism, attachment needs, and communication difficulties
• Implement structured routines and therapeutic approaches
• Use positive behaviour strategies to support pupils who may express themselves physically
• Work closely with support staff to ensure consistency and high expectations
• Liaise with the SENCo, parents, and external professionals
This role requires a confident practitioner who can combine structure, empathy, and expertise to create a calm and purposeful learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience working with pupils with complex SEN needs
• Strong understanding of autism, attachment theory, and communication difficulties
• Experience managing behaviours linked to unmet communication needs
• A calm, resilient, and nurturing approach
• Commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all
What the School Offers
• A supportive and experienced leadership team
• A strong team of dedicated SEN support staff
• A welcoming and inclusive school community
• A well-resourced SEN hub and ARP provision
• A positive working environment in a good local area
• The opportunity to make a genuine and lasting impact on children’s lives
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a caring and ambitious school where inclusion is not just a policy, but a lived value.
