The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, adapting learning to meet a wide range of needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering tailored, engaging lessons for students with SEN

• Supporting pupils with EHCPs and individual learning plans

• Using inclusive strategies to promote progress and independence

• Working closely with support staff, SENCOs, parents and external professionals

• Monitoring progress and celebrating student achievements

The Ideal Candidate

This role would suit a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Has experience working with students with Special Educational Needs

• Is patient, resilient and highly empathetic

• Has strong behaviour management and communication skills

• Is passionate about inclusion and pupil wellbeing
