SEN TA:

Location- Altrincham

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary school in Altrincham who are currently requiring an SEN TA to join their team and support a child with ADHD on a 1:1 basis. This is a full time role looking to start ASAP and the pay will range from £89-£100 per day dependent on experience. It is an excellent opportunity to work at a great school with supportive and welcoming staff. The school is also situated near various public transport links and there will also be access to staff car parks.

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience with SEN pupils. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Knowledge of how SEN in particular ADHD can affect learning is crucial. The ability and knowledge to create a tailored and engaging learning environment. As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be expected to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil who has ADHD. You will liaise with the classroom teacher and the SENCO to provide regular feedback on the pupils progress to ensure they can reach their full potential.
