We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Goodmayes, Redbridge, for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing targeted support to pupils with Special Educational Needs. You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to support pupils’ academic progress, behaviour, and emotional development in a nurturing and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Providing consistent 1:1 and small group SEN support
• Supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, and social-emotional needs
• Implementing behaviour strategies and promoting emotional regulation
• Assisting with classroom activities and differentiated learning
• Supporting structured routines throughout the school day
• Working collaboratively with teachers and the SENCo
• Fostering a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
To be eligible for this role and the stated rate of pay, applicants must have:
• Experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting
• A minimum of 6 months’ recent experience working with children in an educational setting
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach to behaviour support
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A clear commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
• The right to work in the UK
