Contract: Full-time | Temp to Perm

Daily Rate: £100 – £110 (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive KS1 classroom in a well-regarded primary school in Erindale, SE18.

You’ll be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions, ensure pupil engagement, and help children reach their full potential. This is a full-time, long-term position with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

Requirements

• You must have prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary school setting
• Alternatively, you must have extensive experience working with children with special educational needs in a professional setting (e.g., youth work, SEN support roles, etc.)
• Experience with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties
• A calm, patient, and flexible approach with a genuine commitment to inclusive education
• A valid DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
