We are recruiting on behalf of a respected specialist school in Gorton that offers a calm, structured, and supportive setting for children and young people aged 11-19. The school caters for pupils with Autism, ADHD, and mild to severe learning disabilities.

About the Role as a Teaching Assistant:
Support pupils in the classroom, working 1:1 or with small groups Help deliver engaging lessons under the guidance of the class teacher Assist pupils with additional needs, promoting confidence, communication, and positive behaviour Provide encouragement and motivation - in class, during activities, or on the playground Act as a reliable adult role model, supporting pupils' social and emotional development What We're Looking For:
Experience supporting or mentoring children or young people (school, youth work, sports coaching, volunteering or similar) Patient, approachable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Maths & English or equivalent) Calm under pressure with a positive outlook and sense of humour Committed to inclusion and helping every child succeed To be eligible you must:
