SEN Teaching Assistant - Autism & SEMH Location: Burnley, Lancashire Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only Setting: Independent Special School Job Overview We are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive independent special school in Burnley , working with pupils aged 7-16 (with some provision up to 19) who have autism and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school provides a structured, nurturing environment where pupils benefit from personalised learning, strong staff relationships, and a focus on emotional wellbeing. Staff work collaboratively to create a calm, safe, and engaging setting that enables every young person to thrive.
