The school is seeking a nurturing and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their SEND Hub.

The Role in Aston, Birmingham

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils who are: Non-verbal

Experiencing developmental delay

Working at approximately 12-18 months developmental level

Aged from Reception to KS1

Support is delivered through: Play-based learning

Early Years (EY) approaches

Use of Makaton and some BSL to support communication

Two members of staff complete personal care within the setting. While personal care is not essential, a willingness to support when needed would be highly welcomed.

What We're Looking For

Experience supporting children with SEND, Early Years, ASD as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

A patient, caring and adaptable approach.

A genuine passion for inclusive education and early intervention.

Reliability and the ability to travel to Aston, Birmingham.
