About the Role
Remedy Tutors are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a home setting in Wiltshire.
This is a morning-only role mainly (3 hours per day), ideal for candidates looking for consistent, part-time work while making a meaningful difference.
The student is in year 7 currently, but working at a KS1 Level
What You'll Be Doing
Provide targeted support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Assist in delivering engaging, structured learning activities Support children with: Autism (ASC) SEMH needs Learning difficulties Help manage behaviour and support emotional regulation Work closely with teachers and SEN staff Follow EHCP targets and individual support plans
Working Pattern
Monday to Friday Morning hours mostly (approx. 3 hours per day) Based in a home setting in Wiltshire
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Experience working with children with SEN Previous role as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or similar Ideally a Teaching Assistant qualification 2 years experience in Teaching Assistants 2 years SEN Experience Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach Strong communication skills
