A Halifax Primary school is looking for a learning support assistant to work 1:1 with a girl in Year 4 with additional needs and working on the Year 2 curriculum. Day to day for this learning support assistant role: Supporting child with his personalised learning Ability to soothe and calm Caring, nurturing nature Looking out for cues that he needs a movement or toilet break As a learning support assistant you will show strong pastoral and emotional support for your pupil, as well as being vigilant to their cues and needs which will mean able to think on the spot and being flexible with her timetable.
