SEN Teaching Assistant - (Netherley) Liverpool. | Liverpool, Merseyside\n\nTempest Education are working with a Primary SEN School in Liverpool (Netherley)\n\nThe School are looking to appoint the Teaching Assistants ready for next half term.\n\nThe role is supporting a pupil in KS1 on a 1:1 basis. You will be expected to deliver personalised interventions and activities which are tailored to the particular child you will be supporting.\n\nThis role is for the full academic year and there is potential for this role to become permanent.\n\nAs a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the team and provide personalised support for children ensuring they receive the assistance they need to thrive in their education.
Your responsibilities will include:\n\nAssisting in the implementation of personalised learning plans for SEN students\nSupport children working at a level below expected\nPersonal care\nPlan and deliver interventions\nPhonics support\nOffering 1:1 and small group support for children with ASD.\nHelping create a nurturing, positive, and inclusive learning environment\nSupporting classroom activities and adapting resources to meet student's needs\nEncouraging social, emotional, and academic development\nCollaborating with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other professionals to deliver targeted interventionsRequirements:\n\nExperience working with children, especially those with SEN, is highly desirable\nPatience, compassion, and a positive approach to supporting children's learning\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills\nA genuine passion for working in education and helping children succeed\nAn enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)\nMinimum 6 months experience within a School environmentHow to Apply:\n\nIf you're ready to take on this exciting opportunity and become part of a caring, supportive team, please apply with your CV.
