SEN Teaching Assistant

New Today

Teach Now is delighted to be recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a large, diverse, and welcoming community primary school in Redbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
In this rewarding role, your mornings will be spent supporting pupils in Year 2, working closely with children with ADHD and Autism, helping them remain engaged, confident, and able to access the curriculum. In the afternoons, you will support pupils in Year 5/6, working with learners with Autism, SEMH, and emotional regulation needs. You may also deliver targeted 1:1 or small-group interventions under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
The school offers a bright, engaging environment with excellent facilities, including age-specific play areas and beautiful green spaces. Collaboration is central to the school’s ethos, with staff, parents, governors, and pupils working together to create a nurturing and inclusive community.
This role is ideal for someone who is:
• Experienced in supporting children with SEND
• Calm, patient, and adaptable
• Confident across different year groups
• Passionate about children’s emotional and academic development
A relevant TA or SEND qualification is desirable, but strong experience is equally valued. Join Teach Now and make a meaningful difference every day in a school where relationships truly matter.
