The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated 1:1 support for 1 student with SEMH in KS2. You will play a key role in helping them access learning, regulate emotions and develop positive social skills. The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing and proactive, using tailored strategies to meet individual needs. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you will help implement personalised support plans and behaviour strategies to promote engagement and progress. Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN, especially SEMH is essential.
