About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll have the chance to work in a variety of primary schools across Portsmouth. Key Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
Provide 1:1 and group support for children with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their goals. Assist in implementing tailored learning and behaviour plans for pupils with a range of needs. Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment. Support pupils' emotional and social development, encouraging independence and confidence. Experience in SEN: Previous experience supporting children with SEN, particularly in autism and other complex needs. Flexibility and Adaptability: A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a variety of school environments.
