SEN Teaching Assistant Whitchurch

Excell Supply are currently recruiting for a passionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support schools in Whitchurch and the surrounding areas.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
• Support children with EHCPs, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties
• Assist the class teacher with tailored lesson delivery and differentiated activities
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Help create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting
• Be patient, resilient, and adaptable to individual pupil needs
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3 desirable but not essential)
• Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
