PMLD Teaching Assistant - Greenwich - £95-£115 per day

We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Greenwich. This is a highly rewarding role supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.

The Role:
As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who have complex needs, including physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and medical needs. You will support learning through sensory-based activities and assist with personal care where required.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with PMLD
Support sensory learning activities and engagement
Assist with personal care, feeding, and mobility
Work closely with teachers, therapists, and medical staff
Support communication using alternative methods (e.g. PECS, Makaton)
Maintain a safe, calm, and structured environmentThe Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with PMLD, SEN, or care backgrounds
Comfortable supporting personal care needs
Patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
Strong teamwork and communication skills
