SEN tutor

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored 1:1 or small group tuition to learners with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties)

Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets

Build positive, trusting relationships with learners and their families

Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to parents, schools, and local authorities

Support learners with academic, social, and emotional development

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (essential)

Strong understanding of differentiated learning strategies

Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills

Relevant qualifications (QTS, PGCE, SEN qualification, or tutoring experience desirable)

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Ability to work independently and manage flexible schedules
