Purpose: To lead and manage the provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), in line with the SEND Code of Practice and school expectations. To deliver high-quality teaching as a SEND specialist with a strong background in primary education, particularly upper Key Stage 2 and SATs preparation. To play a key role in developing inclusive teaching and learning across the school. To promote and support the academic, social, and emotional progress of all pupils with additional needs. Key Responsibilities a s SENCO: Lead and manage the identification, assessment and support for pupils with SEND. Oversee and coordinate EHCPs, annual reviews, and referrals to external services.
