TeacherActive are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work on a day to day, short term and long term basis in SEMH/SEND schools based in the West Midlands. We are looking for people who have experience working with challenging students who are looking for a slight career change to move into a school environment.

The school are requiring extra staff due to extra student referrals which has meant that the school are needing extra staff to work 1:1 and general classroom help.

Required Skills & Experience:

Previous experience working with children
Strong behaviour management
Team player attitude with a positive and flexible approach to work
Experience within an SEMH school or setting.
In return the successful Learning Support Assistants and Learning Mentors will receive:
