SEND Teaching Assistants
to work across specialist and mainstream schools in Bradford. Youll be supporting pupils aged

with a range of needs including
Autism, SEMH, MLD, PMLD and communication difficulties , helping them to feel safe, supported and ready to learn. The role:
Providing
1:1 and small group support
to pupils with SEND
Supporting learning in a calm, structured and nurturing environment
Using positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques where needed
Encouraging independence, confidence and emotional regulation
Working closely with teachers and support staff to follow EHCPs and individual learning plans
Were looking for people who:
Have experience supporting children or young people with additional needs (in education or care settings)
Are patient, empathetic and able to remain calm in challenging situations
Communicate effectively with pupils, staff and families
Hold an Enhanced DBS (or are willing to apply for one)
Have Team Teach or de-escalation training (desirable but not essential)
