The Opportunity
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering expert acoustics solutions while managing your own projects from inception through to completion. You'll play a key role in both technical delivery and client relationship management, with the opportunity to mentor junior team members and contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting site visits, noise measurements, and technical acoustic assessments Producing high-quality reports and delivering expert advice to clients Managing projects independently, ensuring delivery on time and within budget Attending and presenting at client meetings Supporting and mentoring junior consultants Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for repeat and new business Managing financial aspects including fee proposals and invoicing Maintaining and developing your technical expertise
About You
3-5 years' experience within the acoustic consultancy industry Degree qualified (BSc/BEng or similar, 2:1 or above preferred) Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (or working towards) Strong technical and analytical skills Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills Commercially aware with experience managing project finances Proven ability to manage workload and meet deadlines Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members Full UK driving licenceYou'll also be collaborative, proactive, and personable, with the confidence to represent the company in client-facing environments.
