Title: Agricultural Senior Accountant

Location: Ripon

Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 Do you have experience with farming clients? If so, you might be interested in this Senior role. A Chartered Practice in Ripon is looking for an Accountant to join their friendly team in the Yorkshire Countryside. Responsibilities:

To work within the accounts team preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies with a particular focus on farming and agricultural clients

Preparing associated income, partnership, and corporation tax returns

Preparing tax computations and advising clients on tax issues

Supporting the directors on more complex assignments

Supporting and advising clients on a range of accounting and taxation matters Requirements:

Accountancy practice experience

AAT/ACCA/ACA Qualified

Knowledge of accounting and tax matters for farming and agricultural clients

IT skills inc SAGE, Xero, QuickBooks, Farmplan (preferred) and IRIS (preferred)

Strong communication skills, as well as being able to work as part of a team Benefits:
