Senior Assistant Merchandiser

Job Description dSb is exclusively partnering with a highly profitable retailer in adding the best merchandising talent to their product teams.

They're looking to appoint an experienced Assistant Merchandiser with focus on licensed products who can confidently work with 3rd party stakeholders, whilst also:

Analyse market trends
Develop range structures in alignment with the brand
Present pricing strategies
Evaluate previous season and supplier performance
Accurate forecasting of demand
Maintain correct sizing, forecasts, and inventory levels onto the systems
Review budgets regularly and identify cost savings
Track in-season performance, including sales, inventory and markdowns

Experience required:

Ability to use data analysis tools to interpret sales data, market trends, and performance metrics
To be able to apply pricing and markdown strategies effectively to optimise sales
As an experienced Assistant or Junior Merchandiser with experience in own-label and product development
Forecasting and inventory management
Numerically and commercially minded
