Location: East England We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to support HV/LV electrical engineering projects, including substation construction, network upgrades, and planned outages. You will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient operations in line with Distribution Safety Rules.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and execute HV switching schedules using PowerOn and other DNO systems

* Safely isolate and earth high-voltage apparatus

* Issue Permits to Work, Sanctions for Test, and Limitations of Access

* Develop and implement safety documentation and method statements

* Attend client meetings and support the resolution of operational issues

* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to project planning activities

* Ensure full compliance with safety standards, company policies, and HSE legislation

What You’ll Bring

* SAP authorisation at 11kV, 33kV, or 132kV on a DNO network

* Experience in substation construction, HV commissioning, or network maintenance

* Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, safety regulations, and outage planning

* HNC or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

* Full UK driving licence, with flexibility to travel across East Anglia and surrounding regions
