About the Role

We are looking for a commercially minded and data-driven Senior Business Analyst to join a growing Product team within a fast-paced SaaS environment.

This is a hands-on, product-focused role where you will operate at the intersection of business strategy and technical delivery, working closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to shape and deliver high-quality software solutions.

This is not a documentation-only role. You will be expected to deeply understand a complex product ecosystem and actively contribute to solution design, ensuring clarity, scalability, and alignment across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and definition of business and functional requirements across the full product lifecycle
• Translate business needs into clear, structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements
• Work closely with engineering teams during backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery cycles
• Collaborate with Product Managers to shape solutions that balance business value and technical feasibility
• Analyse and map complex workflows, system interactions, and data flows
• Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, product, and engineering teams
• Challenge assumptions and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
• Support solution design by aligning requirements with existing architecture and development practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes and product quality
• Use data and product metrics to drive informed decision-making

Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner within a software / SaaS product environment
• Proven experience working closely with engineering teams in agile, sprint-based delivery models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business problems
• Experience producing user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
• Solid understanding of APIs, integrations, and system interactions
• Good knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Confident communicator with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders

Desirable Experience

• Exposure to subscription-based or billing systems
• Experience working within B2B SaaS or platform products
• Familiarity with complex workflows, domain models, or multi-tenant systems
• Understanding of cloud-based architectures and integration-heavy environments
