The role As Senior Business Development Director, you will be responsible for expanding the firm’s UK presence through relationship-led origination and strategic market engagement. Key Responsibilities Include

Business Development & Market Engagement

Originate new agency and trustee mandates through your established sponsor, fund and law firm network Execute a UK-focused BD strategy aligned with wider European growth plans Represent the firm at leading European conferences and industry events

Transaction & Internal Collaboration

Work closely with transaction management and operations teams across multiple European offices Support complex loan closings and ongoing mandates, ensuring a consistently high client experience Stay close to market developments to identify new opportunities and areas for innovation

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Mentor and support a junior team member Participate in regular cross-border strategy discussions with senior leadership Provide structured pipeline updates and commercial insights to management

About You You’re an established BD professional in syndicated lending, with a strong reputation and trusted client relationships. You Will Bring

Proven business development experience within loan administration, trustee services or fund administration A demonstrable track record of originating mandates via sponsors and/or law firms Strong understanding of loan closing mechanics and transaction lifecycles The confidence to operate autonomously while collaborating across international teams Excellent relationship-building, communication and organisational skills
