Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

Identify, target, and convert

recruitment agencies and SME clients

into long-term partnerships

Develop and execute a structured

new business strategy

aligned with organisational growth objectives

Leverage

outbound activity and inbound warm leads

to maximise conversion and pipeline value

Consultative Sales & Solutions Delivery

Engage senior decision-makers to understand

business challenges and payroll requirements

Deliver tailored

PAYE, Umbrella, and CIS solutions

aligned to client needs

Confidently present

payroll software and system demonstrations

Relationship Management & Market Presence

Build trusted, long-term relationships with agency owners, directors, and operational leaders

Position yourself as a

strategic partner

rather than a transactional supplier

Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and regulatory developments to maintain a

commercial edge

Future Leadership & Team Development

Contribute to the design and growth of the

business development function

Support

onboarding, mentoring, and development

of future hires

Candidate Profile

This role is suited to a commercially astute, highly motivated professional with ambition to progress into

senior leadership . You will bring: Proven track record in

business development or sales , ideally within

payroll, recruitment, or contractor services

Ability to

influence and build credibility

with senior decision-makers

Structured, disciplined, and

results-driven approach

to sales

Excellent

organisational and relationship management skills

Understanding of

recruitment processes and contractor lifecycles

(IR35/AWR knowledge advantageous)
