Senior Buyer | Scaling, Premium Brand | Multi Product | £60,000 - £80,000 DOE | Greater Manchester\n\nThis is a rare, one-off, opportunity to join a fast, scaling, premium, multi - product brand at an exciting stage of growth. We are looking for a Senior Buyer who is trend led, design, driven and commercially astute.\n\nYou need to be someone who thrives in building product with purpose while delivering strong margin and cash results.\nYou will operate with a Buying Manager mindset, with real autonomy across your departments, supported by a collaborative and creative culture.\n\nThe Role:\n\nAs their Senior Buyer you will lead ambitious seasonal strategies while remaining hands on with product. You will balance creativity with commercial discipline, with knowing how to price, cost and build compelling, well balanced "drops".\n\nYou will implement strategies around buying upfront for core product, secure committed volume, and leverage fabric and scale to achieve stronger margins without compromising quality or brand DNA.\nYou will inspire and develop your team, challenge ways of working, and continuously improve efficiency as the business scales.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead with clarity and pace, holding direct reports accountable for the trading and performance of their sub - categories.\nCreate an environment where the team feels motivated, supported and commercially empowered.\nOwn range building end - to - end, delivering balanced, trend led and profitable assortments.\nReview colour, print, shape and fabric direction, protecting best sellers while consistently driving newness.\nIdentify gaps and opportunities across ranges, reacting quickly to sales to maximise commercial potential.\nDrive test & trial strategies to unlock innovation, speed and incremental profit.\nBuild and present lessons learnt and performance reviews to Heads of and Directors\nPartner closely with Merchandisers to: Build clear pricing architectures, plan all seasonal buys, manage OTB and seasonal budgets, forecast and project volume programmes.\nDeliver strong trading performance across margin, cash sales and stock health\nLead supplier strategy, maintaining strong existing relationships while onboarding new partners\nConfident sourcing across Far East and near, shore supply bases (short and long lead)\nSecure committed product through smart fabric and volume buys to achieve cost efficiencies\nSource new fabrics and trims, including experience with more sustainable fabrications\nConduct cross, costing projects to protect and improve margin\nAttend supplier visits, trend trips and design meetings with internal and external stakeholders.\nOversee critical path management and delivery schedules across the wider team.\nManage Monday trade reports, setting clear actions and priorities along with merchandising.\nProactively communicate and resolve stock risks, delays and cancellations\nOwn launch readiness, ensuring campaign, trigger dates and key styles land on time.\nLead planning and execution of all product launches within your department.About You:\n\nYou have a strong personal sense of style, a natural eye for trend, and an instinctive understanding of what customers will want next.
