Senior Buyer

We are supporting a rapidly growing, leading enterprise in the high-volume consumer goods sector. They require a commercial leader to overhaul and drive profitability across a core procurement portfolio. This role offers full P&L accountability and a direct path to senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the complete range, pricing, and promotional strategy for a diverse portfolio.
• Secure best-in-market trading terms (JBPs) and pricing by leveraging a strong network and opening major new supplier accounts.
• Lead a small team and aggressively manage cash flow, payment terms, and logistics to optimize profitability.
• Deliver substantial YOY category growth.

What they are looking for:

• Proven experience managing multi-category procurement in a high-turnover environment (e.g., retail/wholesale).
• Direct P&L responsibility is essential.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivots, SUMIF).
• Experience in the Grey Market is essential.
• Deep understanding of the consumer product supply chain.
