ASA Recruitment is seeking experienced Senior Care Assistants to join our team, supporting services across Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Auchtertool, Cardenden, Falkland, Glenrothes, Cowdenbeath, Leven, and Anstruther.

Role Purpose

To provide personal care and support to residents while maintaining a homely, person-centred environment. You will assist residents with their daily routines, promote independence, and take responsibility for helping manage the shift to ensure high standards of care are delivered at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting residents to live an individual lifestyle while promoting choice, dignity, privacy, and independence in line with their care plans.

• Delivering personal care, including dressing and undressing, bathing, showering, oral care, eating, drinking, and continence support.

• Leading on safe medication administration and accurate record keeping.

• Supporting residents in participating in meaningful activities that enhance their quality of life.

• Supervising and assisting residents with safe use of equipment such as hoists.

• Assisting with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean dining environment.

• Helping residents with daily living activities such as laundry, light housekeeping, or gardening.

• Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment at all times.

• Leading and supporting the care team during shifts to ensure smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For

• SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care – essential.

• Proven experience in a senior care role.

• Knowledge of person-centred care and best practice standards.

• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

• PVG membership or willingness to apply.
