London / South East ROLE OVERVIEW This role is designed for an MRICS-qualified Chartered Surveyor ready tooperatewith senior authority within a growing consultancy. Youlllead complex instructions across residential and commercial portfolios, acting as a trusted adviser to clients while managing technically demanding projects frominceptionthrough to completion. The role requires strong professional judgement, commercialawarenessand the confidence to take ownership of delivery across multiple live projects. Rather than being restricted to one service line,youlloperateacross building pathology, majorworksdelivery, compliance-ledreportingand strategic advisory work. Your contribution will directly influence client relationships, servicequalityand regional growth, positioning you for progression toward Associate and leadership roles. Youlltake ownership of client relationships, ensuring clear communication, sound professionaladviceand commercially balanced recommendations. Youllcontribute to the continued development of junior surveyors and APC candidates, strengthening technical standards while supporting the growth and reputation of the business. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Youllbe successful in this role if: You confidently lead multiple live projects whilemaintainingquality and commercial control Your technical advice is trusted by clients and influences key decisions You manage risk effectively across contract administration and compliance-led instructions You strengthen existing client relationships andidentifyopportunities for further work You mentor junior surveyors and contribute positively to team performance HOW YOULL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME Most weeks,youllbe: Acting as Project Manager and Contract Administrator on refurbishment and major works projects typically ranging from £50k to £3m+ Preparing specifications, tender documentation and administering JCT contracts Providingauthoritative advice on complex building defects across varied asset types Preparing Planned Preventative Maintenance reports and lifecycle cost advice Undertaking reinstatement cost assessments and pre-acquisition surveys Completing Building Height Surveys and structural appraisals linked to the Building Safety Act 2022 Preparing Schedules of Dilapidations and negotiating claims Acting in the capacity of Principal Designer, including PCI preparation and oversight of RAMS and H&S documentation Monitoring development and project works on behalf of landlords, managing agents and funders Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors and APC candidates Youllwork in a hybrid way, balancing home working, siteinspectionsand office collaboration, with flexibility and trust built in from the outset.
