Job Description
Our client are growing, and they’re looking for a talented Civil Engineer to join the Nottingham office. If you’re passionate about delivering high‑quality engineering solutions and want to be part of a collaborative, forward‑thinking consultancy, this is an opportunity to make a real impact.\n\nAbout\n\nYou’ll work as part of our established Civil Engineering team, contributing to a wide range of projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed‑use sectors. From concept design through to detailed engineering and construction support, you’ll play a key role in shaping sustainable, buildable, and innovative solutions for our clients.\n\nThe role\n\nProducing civil engineering designs, drawings, and reports for drainage, highways, earthworks, and infrastructure projects\n\nUsing industry‑standard software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, and AutoCAD\n\nSupporting senior engineers with design development and project delivery\n\nLiaising with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders\n\nPreparing technical submissions, including planning and Section 38/104/278 applications\n\nContributing to a positive team culture and helping to mentor junior staff where appropriate\n\nSkills\n\nDegree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline\n\nExperience in a consultancy environment (we’re open to different levels of experience)\n\nWorking knowledge of UK design standards and approval processes\n\nStrong communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset\n\nProgress toward professional accreditation (IEng/CEng) is desirable but not essential\n\nWhats on offer\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package\n\nHybrid working options\n\nSupport for professional development and chartership\n\nA friendly, collaborative team with a strong reputation for quality\n\nThe chance to work on diverse, challenging, and rewarding projects
