New year, new job. Are you a Senior Civil Engineer looking to step away from rigid corporate structures and into a role where your technical judgement genuinely shapes projects? This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer ready to take ownership, lead designs and influence delivery within a supportive, multidisciplinary consultancy.

You will be based in the Oxfordshire office, working closely with a regional civil engineering team while contributing to projects across the South East and further afield. The workload includes highways, drainage and development infrastructure schemes, supporting clients wherever their projects are located, while benefiting from flexible, hybrid working.

The role

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will take responsibility for the technical and commercial delivery of multiple projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and delivering civil engineering projects to programme and budget
• Leading highways, drainage and infrastructure designs using 3D software
• Ensuring designs comply with current standards, legislation and regulations
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
• Liaising with clients, contractors and internal teams throughout project stages
• Supporting consultancy growth through high-quality delivery and client engagement

About you

This role suits a confident Senior Civil Engineer ready to lead.

You will ideally have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering
• Strong experience in highways, drainage or infrastructure design
• Proven project management capability from concept to completion
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A proactive and collaborative approach
