Our client is an award-winning multidisciplinary design consultancy based near Reading.

They are looking to recruit a Civil Design Engineer with experience in Drainage Design for a range of residential and commercial projects.

The successful candidate will design infrastructure for sectors including commercial, retail, residential, and industrial.

Civil Engineer Job Overview

• Design infrastructure such as SUDS drainage systems and roads in accordance with adoptable & DMRB standards.
• Coordinate with statutory bodies like Southern & Thames Water, Roads Department, and local drainage authorities.
• Participate in design meetings, site visits, and inspections.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues, clients, contractors, and other designers, providing advice and guidance as needed.
• Manage projects within budget and timeline constraints.

Civil Engineer Job Requirements

• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 3 years of Civil Engineering experience
• Proficiency in relevant software such as PDS, Civils 3D, Micro Drainage, Causeway Flow, and AutoCAD.
