Senior Commercial and Contracts ManagerDublin | Construction / Infrastructure Sector An established construction organisation is looking to appoint a senior-level Commercial and Contracts Manager to strengthen oversight across its project portfolio. This position plays a key role in ensuring that contractual obligations are effectively managed, risks are controlled, and commercial decisions are well governed from tender stage through to final delivery. You will act as a central point of expertise for contractual matters, supporting project teams while also helping to shape internal standards, processes, and best practice across the business.Key responsibilitiesReview contract terms and commercial conditions during tender and pre-award stagesProvide strategic input during negotiations with clients and supply chain partnersSupport project delivery teams with ongoing contractual and commercial guidanceOversee contract compliance across multiple live projectsDevelop, maintain, and improve internal contract frameworks, templates, and guidance materialsTrack and monitor contractual obligations, variations, and key risks across projectsAssist in resolving contractual issues, including claims and disputes where requiredDeliver internal training sessions to improve commercial and contractual awareness across teamsContribute to the continuous improvement of governance and reporting systemsAbout youDegree qualified in Law, Construction Law, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related disciplineStrong background in construction contract management within a main contractor or similar environmentProven experience dealing with contract negotiation, risk allocation, and claims mattersComfortable interpreting complex contractual provisions and explaining them clearly to non-legal stakeholdersExperience working with standard forms such as NEC, JCT, FIDIC or similar frameworksStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneouslyConfident communicator with the ability to influence project and senior management teamsIn returnSenior-level position within a growing commercial functionExposure to a diverse portfolio of construction and infrastructure projectsOpportunity to shape internal contract governance and best practiceCollaborative working environment with strong project delivery focusCompetitive salary and benefits package aligned to experience This is a key appointment for someone who enjoys combining contractual expertise with practical project support.
