We believe that through innovation, development and supporting our customers and patients, we can help others achieve a Life Unlimited. Our Commercial team plays a critical role in this mission, ensuring our most strategic NHS partnerships are built on insight, value, and long-term collaboration.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on complexity, influence, and impact. As our SeniorCommercial Manager, you’ll work alongside the Regional Lead to shape and manage a forward-looking opportunity pipeline across key NHS accounts. You’ll be the driving force behind strategic deal-making, stakeholder engagement, and commercial innovation by bringing together data, insight, and collaboration to unlock value for both Smith+Nephew and our partners.
Although this is a remote role, you will be expected to regularly collaborate with some of our key accounts and stakeholders. Therefore the ideal candidate will preferably be located north of Birmingham.

- Navigate complex frameworks and contract negotiations, ensuring commercial robustness and alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with Area Business Managers and Sales Directors to develop innovative, tailored commercial offerings.
- Use data and financial insights to influence decision-making and drive profitable growth.
- Solve complex problems with creativity and resilience, adapting to the evolving NHS landscape.
You’ll bring a strong track record in healthcare commercial roles, ideally within medical devices or orthopaedics with a deep understanding of NHS procurement and public sector dynamics.
You’ll be someone who naturally takes ownership, builds trust, and thrives in high-stakes environments. Your ability to influence, negotiate, and deliver results will be matched by your analytical mindset and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
