£55,000 - £60,000 depending on experience

Are you a passionate quality leader ready to raise the bar for food safety, compliance, and continuous improvement and move into this Senior Compliance Manager role? This is your opportunity to take ownership, driving quality excellence across a diverse product portfolio for leading brands and customers.

What you'll be doing as the Senior Compliance Manager:

Lead and evolve a robust Quality Management System across all sites, ensuring compliance with BRC, major retailer COPs, and third-party certification bodies.

Drive internal and external audit readiness, leading site audit strategies, GMP inspections, and supplier risk assessments-especially in packaging and traceability.

Generate and deliver key technical KPIs, supporting performance reviews, customer reporting, and strategic quality initiatives to keep us ahead of industry expectations.

Head up HACCP, TACCP & VACCP teams, managing documentation, validation, recall simulations, and continuous improvement cycles.

Oversee document control and training frameworks, making sure all policies are live, shared, and embedded across departments.

Coach, mentor, and lead a dynamic Technical & Quality team-supporting development, appraisals, and embedding a culture of best practice.

Act as the key technical expert, liaising with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams to deliver gold-standard food safety and product integrity.

Champion sustainability, food ethics, and compliance-supporting Red Tractor, Soil Association, Tesco Food Standards, and environmental monitoring standards

What you'll need:

Proven track record of working within a technical role within the fresh produce industry

Clear understanding of compliance accreditations

Full working rights in the UK

Own transport
