THE OPPORTUNITY
Play a central role in delivering high-value Financial Services M&A transactions at Senior Lawyer level. Lead key workstreams on complex deals, working closely with partners and senior stakeholders. Advise on a wide range of corporate matters including public and private M&A, disposals, joint ventures, restructurings and cross-border transactions. Work with an impressive client base including major banks, financial institutions, fintechs and asset managers. Be actively involved in client relationship development and business development initiatives. Collaborate with specialists across multiple practice areas both in the UK and internationally. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Qualified Corporate Lawyer with 7+ PQE. Strong experience in M&A and strategic corporate transactions, ideally within the financial services sector. Proven ability to manage and deliver transaction workstreams with minimal supervision. Commercially minded with a solutions-focused approach to legal issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships. A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing environment. Demonstrates initiative, proactivity and a genuine interest in business development. Detail-oriented, organised and confident delivering high-quality work under pressure.
