More about your role We are looking to recruit a Senior Database Engineer on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Database Engineering Manager, this is a key role within the Cloud function. This is a highly technical role and you will be responsible for the operational excellence and delivery of on-premise and in cloud database services. This position has a 2 stage interview process with the 1st stage being online and the 2nd being face to face in Preston (for candidates to progressed to 2nd stage we will cover the costs of travel). More about you The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Senior Database Engineer. Knowledge of SQL Server or MySQL is desired along with experience of working on-premises and with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure. Experience working as a Senior/ Lead Database Engineer. A proven track record of working with SQL Server or MySQL and willingness to cross train to cover both. Knowledge of working with Cloud Platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
