Job Overview The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a senior Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet client technical requirements and business objectives. The role focuses on customer success throughout the cloud migration journey, providing technical guidance and ensuring best practices. Key job responsibilities
Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies Share knowledge internally through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating systems Experience with external/internal customer-facing, complex and large-scale project management Experience with application modernisation patterns and strategies Experience with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS) Experience with microservices architecture design and implementation Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures Experience with API design and management Experience with application refactoring and re-platforming techniquesExperience with cloud-native development practices
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and technical expertise in designing and implementing cloud computing technologies Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands‑on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience Experience with configuration management using CloudFormation, Chef & Puppet Experience in large-scale migration (data centre to data centre or data centre to cloud infrastructure) Experience with legacy application assessment and decomposition Experience with database modernisation
