Our mission is to help dental and veterinary clinics make recurring payments as simple as paying by card. We want to make memberships (Plans) and patient finance seamless by ‘combining' workflows with cards and tapping existing patient data.
There are two exciting trends affecting the primary care sector right now.
- We believe all businesses are becoming internet businesses. Many clinics now actively ‘push' online bookings and explore the benefits to handle phone calls with AI agents 24/7
- We believe all revenue is moving towards monthly payments. People pay for more and more ‘stuff' with a subscription, from cars to music. Dentists and vets are well positioned to benefit due to the strong, recurring relationships with patients
Tabeo is profitable. We seek to grow revenue by 50-60% per year and top £30 million per year in 2028.
We believe in a remote first approach to work and equip teams with perks and tools so they can thrive. However, we all come together 2x per year for our amazing ‘Team Weeks'. We previously met in Dubai, Lisbon and London. Next is Athens.
About the role:
We're looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to join our growing engineering function. This is a key role focused on aligning engineering squads, streamlining delivery, and scaling our operations as we grow from two to three squads and beyond in 2026.
As the first dedicated delivery hire, you will set the bar for delivery excellence, bring clarity to team priorities, and help engineers and product managers move faster with confidence.
Here are the key areas where you'll make an impact:
- Delivery enablement: Ensure engineering teams have the structure, processes, and support to deliver predictably and effectively
- Planning and execution: Partner with engineering leads and product managers to drive planning, execution, and roadmap clarity
- Process design and facilitation: Define and continuously improve rituals like stand-ups, retros, sprint planning, and team ceremonies across squads
- Risk and dependency management: Identify and communicate blockers and cross-team dependencies early and often
- Communication: Improve transparency across engineering, product, and business stakeholders through clear reporting and shared visibility
- Metrics: Define and track delivery KPIs (velocity, lead time, throughput) to inform improvements
- Alignment: Ensure the right things are being worked on at the right time, and escalate misalignments early
- Coaching: Elevate the delivery maturity of the organisation by mentoring teams on agile principles and lean execution
- Scalability: Build systems and playbooks that scale as we double the size of the engineering function
- An initial call with our recruiter
- A call with leaders in our product and engineering teams
- A call with the hiring manager (CTO)
- A delivery-focused scenario/task interview with engineering and product
Requirements
- You're an experienced Delivery Manager with 5+ years in product engineering environments
- You have a technical background ideally as a software engineer
- You've supported multiple teams across product, engineering, and design, helping them improve delivery velocity and team health
- You balance structure with pragmatism and know when to adapt process to context
- You communicate clearly and proactively to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences
- You've worked in a startup or scale-up and enjoy helping teams thrive amid ambiguity and growth
- You're outcome-oriented and care deeply about enabling teams to deliver meaningful customer and business value
- You understand the dynamics of cross-functional teams and know how to influence without authority
- You are familiar with modern agile delivery approaches and tools, and bring opinions about what good looks like
- Competitive salary
- Employee share options
- £2,000 per annual CPD package to be used at your discretion
- Full kit for home office
- Health insurance and life assurance (including dental and optical) for UK staff
- Company trips
- 24 days holiday annually, plus a day off on your birthday
- Extended parental leave
- Contributing pension scheme for UK staff
