Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth oversight of private equity and real estate fund activities to ensure compliance with AIFMD and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Lead the onboarding and periodic reviews of alternative investment funds, including risk assessments and documentation checks.
- Review and validate fund documentation, including NAV calculations, cash flow monitoring, and asset verification.
- Act as a key point of contact for fund managers, administrators, and internal teams, providing guidance and ensuring accurate regulatory reporting.
- Support the training and supervision of junior analysts, helping to maintain high standards across the team.
- Contribute to process improvement, development of internal controls, and the refinement of oversight methodologies.
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external reporting, and participate in regulatory and client audits as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 3-5 Years of experience in depositary services, fund oversight, or regulatory compliance, ideally within a Private Capital or Alternatives environment.
- Strong understanding of AIFMD, fund structures (e.g., LPs, RAIFs, SIFs), and regulatory obligations.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams and with external clients.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A professional qualification like (ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CAIA) is desired.
