Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong technical expertise and proven experience in rail civil engineering projects. About the Role: As Senior Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, compliant, and safe design solutions across rail Civil and Structural. Youll manage the full design lifecyclefrom feasibility studies through to project close-outwhile mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continual improvement across the business. Key Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of design projects within time and budget constraints Produce and check design documentation including drawings, reports, specifications, and risk assessments Undertake site inspections, surveys, and investigations Champion compliance with British and European Standards, CDM 2015, and Safe by Design principles Act as Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) where required Support business development by attending client meetings and representing the company Mentor, train, and manage junior members of t...
