Senior Design Manager, Hertfordshire Salary/rate: £90,000 – £98,000 per annum + Travel, Bonus, Pension and Bupa. A Senior Design Manager is sought to join a well-established international contractor, working on the development of a complex laboratory project in Hertfordshire. The project is in its early stages and requires an individual with experience in healthcare or laboratory design, ideally having worked from cradle to grave on such schemes. Responsibilities

Input into the recruitment of the design team Agree tender and construction programme Selection of sub-contractors Manage junior members of design and support staff within the design team Ensure delivery of design work on site across all construction stages

Qualifications

Technically proficient with a proven track record of delivering on site Experience in healthcare, life sciences or laboratory projects (desirable but not essential) Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to work independently and make decisions across all stages of construction
