My client, a market leading consumer products business, is looking to appoint a Digital Solutions Architect. Based in the Lake District, you'll be responsible for shaping technical solutions but at the same time be ready and keen to stay close to the code and technical problem solving. Ideally, you’ll be office-based, but for the right candidate there will be the possibility of hybrid or remote working. Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Leadership and the IT Development team to steer the direction for the technical road map (including all in-house business systems and consumer facing platforms) Translate business requirements into architectural designs which are realistic, scalable and robust, ensuring all technical documentation is actionable and up to date Support code reviews to ensure best practice Work successfully with stakeholders to deliver projects in budget and on time Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and digital trends, evaluating their potential benefit to benefit the business and their customers

About you

You’ll have a proven track record in solutions architecture at a senior level. Significant prior hands‑on experience is a must, as is your desire to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in when needed. Experienced in a range of web and mobile technologies, ecommerce platforms and various languages (including C#, SQL) and Frameworks (.NET Core, .NET MVC) An experienced project manager – excellent at making informed judgements and a driving force in seeing projects through to completion with positive results
