With operations across the globe, the company is known for delivering innovative, high-reliability engineering solutions used in mission-critical environments worldwide.As an experienced ElectricalDesignEngineertosupportthedevelopmentand integrationofallelectricalcomponentsandcontrolsystemsfor the company power systems.Youll collaborate with Mechanical, Systems and Software engineers to deliver state-of-the-art solutions for customers worldwide.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslatecustomerrequirementstodevelopthepower systemselectricaldefinitionand specification.Producewiringdiagramsandschematics(AutoCAD/SolidWorks)andselect components/specifications considering standards, availability and cost.CollaboratewithMechanicalandSystemsteamsoncomponent/systemintegration.Supportkeyvendorsintheconstructionandmanufactureofproductswithelectrical elements.Addresscomplexdesignandmanufacturingchallengeswithintheengineeringteam.Present/discussideaswithsuppliersandcreateprototypes/samplesfortesting.Producedetailedelectricaldesigndocuments(layoutdrawingsandcalculations).Communicatewithmechanicaldesignengineerstoproducedetaileddesignsinatimely manner.DeliveraccurateBillsofMaterials(BOMs)andprepare/checkdocumentationtomeet requirements.Keepuptodatewiththelatestmanufacturingtechniquesanddrawingstandards.Skills & Experience Required DegreeinElectrical&ElectronicEngineeringpreferred(orequivalentexperience).Experienceincontrol-paneldesign(preferred).Knowledgeofelectricalwiring(preferred).ProficientwithAutoCADorSolidWorksElectrical;understandingof3D modelling/design (preferred).High-levelexperiencecreatingelectricalschematics.Teamplayerwithstrongcommunicationskillsandtheabilitytopresentcomplexideas clearly.CompetentwithMicrosoftOffice;awarenessofmechanicaldesignandabilitytoread dimensional drawings.FamiliarwithBOMstructuresandmanagement.Experience working with any of the following industries / areas would be beneficial:-Critical power or energy infrastructure systems-Industrial automation or control systems-Electrical test or commissioning environments-Generator or power distribution equipment-Industrial electronics or control panelsStable, established engineering business - Base + Benefits.
