Midlands Onsite: Perm An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a well-established, globally recognised engineering organisation specialising in critical power and electrical test systems. With operations across the globe, the company is known for delivering innovative, high-reliability engineering solutions used in mission-critical environments worldwide. As an experienced ElectricalDesignEngineertosupportthedevelopmentand integrationofallelectricalcomponentsandcontrolsystemsfor the company power systems.Youll collaborate with Mechanical, Systems and Software engineers to deliver state-of-the-art solutions for customers worldwide. Key Responsibilities Translatecustomerrequirementstodevelopthepower systemselectricaldefinitionand specification. Producewiringdiagramsandschematics(AutoCAD/SolidWorks)andselect components/specifications considering standards, availability and cost. CollaboratewithMechanicalandSystemsteamsoncomponent/systemintegration. Supportkeyvendorsintheconstructionandmanufactureofproductswithelectrical elements. Addresscomplexdesignandmanufacturingchallengeswithintheengineeringteam. Present/discussideaswithsuppliersandcreateprototypes/samplesfortesting. Producedetailedelectricaldesigndocuments(layoutdrawingsandcalculations). Communicatewithmechanicaldesignengineerstoproducedetaileddesignsinatimely manner. DeliveraccurateBillsofMaterials(BOMs)andprepare/checkdocumentationtomeet requirements. Keepuptodatewiththelatestmanufacturingtechniquesanddrawingstandards. Skills & Experience Required DegreeinElectrical&ElectronicEngineeringpreferred(orequivalentexperience). Experienceincontrol-paneldesign(preferred). Knowledgeofelectricalwiring(preferred). ProficientwithAutoCADorSolidWorksElectrical;understandingof3D modelling/design (preferred). High-levelexperiencecreatingelectricalschematics. Teamplayerwithstrongcommunicationskillsandtheabilitytopresentcomplexideas clearly. CompetentwithMicrosoftOffice;awarenessofmechanicaldesignandabilitytoread dimensional drawings.
