Job Title: Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Location:Glasgow, Scotland (hybrid relocation support available)

Salary: Up to £65,000 (depending on experience) + Excellent Benefits

Youll play a pivotal role in designing and developing power conversion products and work on real-world challenges in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment with travel opportunities.

About The Role

• Lead development of innovative AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies
• Simulate and design switching converters using tools like Mathcad, Simplis, SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, controls, EMI, and layout teams
• Prepare schematic designs, parts lists, and oversee prototyping and testing
• Support international engineering activities across a global network
• As this is a global organization there may be opportunities to work out of offices in Europe, Asia, and the US.
  
  

• A degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering
• Experience in power electronics, including semiconductors, magnetics, and control theory
• Hands-on knowledge of LLC, phase-shift converters, active PFC
• Proficient with lab tools (oscilloscopes, ACDC and DCDC loads), CAD software, and structured design processes
• Familiar with PCB layout and purchasing
• Experience in EMC compliance
• Interest in automation, drones, and smart robotics
